Following the advice of just about everyone, we've decided to close our gallery to the public for now. We remain, however, a small community linked together by our interests, our community, and humanity. None of us have ever done this before. The first thing I want to ask is whether there is anything we can do to help anyone of you out there. Does anyone need a picture printed or framed urgently? Do you want to send a gift for an event that has been called off, or just to brighten someone's day? Have you always wanted to buy an Escher original but felt they were too expensive? Now's your chance. Fortunately, email and PayPal make this a possibility. Here's what we can do. First of all, I want to continue to pay my employees, Karri and Julie. Like so many, they have families to support and bills to pay, so they need their salaries. I need to pay the Artists' Market mortgage and bills. Every bill that is due is sent to me by someone who needs the money, now more than ever. This is especially true for artists and small businesses. To do these things I need your help, and I need your friend's help. Here are two things I ask you to consider. Don't worry, we'll be here for you for as long as possible regardless of whether you are able to help us or not, but you need to know that that there are real things you can do to help us all get through this together. First, every day or two I'm going to post a picture or two of beautiful things from our gallery. You don't have to come into our store, these are things that we will be very happy to send to you. For those of you who have been in our gallery, feel free to ask for whatever you've seen here and I'll send you pictures. We'll figure this out. You can pay by PayPal (Jeff@ArtistsMarket.com) or credit card. I'll ship for free to anywhere in America. Just how I'll do that is part of my job. I'll figure it out. You'll find a picture of my first offering below. If you like this idea, please share with your friends, if you don't want to be bothered, just unsubscribe and we'll still be friends. Next, I'm going to dig deep into my Escher collection and find some extraordinary artworks that I can offer you at prices that have never been possible before. I need to keep Artists' Market in business. I have Escher prints. Now we have an opportunity unlike anything any of us has seen before. You can always give a gift certificate. A gift for the future is full of hope! Contact Jeff@ArtistsMarket.com) or just go to that same name on PayPal. Please share your ideas with me. We've weathered a lot of storms, but none like this. Thank you for reading this and let me wish you all good health and good luck. Jeff
