We are committed to connecting the dots between intercultural music education and its influence on the socioemotional and intellectual development of children. We offer a repertoire that reflects the diversity of our students’ cultures and communities. Through the joy of making music together, we aim to broaden children’s understanding of our world, as well as to build skills that will serve them well in every aspect of their lives.

Let's welcome Elizabeth Anaya Sheils, our new Violin Instructor! Meet Elizabeth, a full-time strings educator at Wolfpit Integrated Arts Elementary School in Norwalk, CT. She holds a Master's degree in Music Education from the University of Bridgeport as well as a double Bachelor's degree in Music and Communication from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Outside of her role in education, Elizabeth is a multifaceted musician and performer who actively contributes to various musical projects, including recording and playing solo violin with the electronic fusion project, Sidestep Complex. She earned her Bachelor of Music in classical voice from Manhattan School of Music. Ria serves as the Choral Director of Saint Maurice Church in Stamford, CT. Recent projects include recording with multi Emmy and Grammy award-winning music producer, Brian Keane, for Arti Dixson’s humanitarian foundation “HOPE” (Help Our People Eat).
